Scott's Custom Rods also offers rod repairs. Anything from a tip
replacement to a complete refurbish.
If
a complete refurbish is what you desire then SCR can do this also.
This may include a removal of all the guides, sanding the blank
to remove all the finish, repaint the blank and replace with new
guides.
Grip
and reel seat repairs are also possible. I can get as simple or
as detailed as you would like or need. Please feel free to contact
me and we can give you an estimate and get things started getting
your favorite rod back up to your standards.
In these pictures you can see a broken guide on a rod and then
the repair that was done, this was a straight forward repair and
wouldn't take more then a couple of days, if the proper guide
was in stock.
The repair process is also a great time to customize your rod.
